University of Management and Technology Deans Scholarship
Summary
The University of Management and Technology is sponsoring the UMT Dean’s Scholarships: 35% of full tuition in an undergraduate (valued at up to US$16,800) or graduate on-line degree program (valued at up to US$6300).
The UMT Dean’s Scholarships are awarded three times per year; however, recipients can enroll at any time within the year following award notification.
Application and Notification
Potential candidates should apply for the scholarship before applying for admission to UMT. If selected for a PMI Educational Foundation scholarship, the candidate will be notified by PMIEF. He/she will then be contacted by a UMT admissions office representative who will facilitate an application to the desired degree program.
To ensure UMT degree program eligibility, applicants are urged to review the UMT admission requirements before applying for a PMIEF scholarship. Application Deadline is December 1st.
There are four application deadlines:
- February 15
- May 01
- September 01
- December 01

Criteria
In order to be considered eligible for each scholarship, each applicant must meet the general admission requirements of UMT and must meet all of the existing admission requirements for the selected UMT academic program.
The following categories of individuals are not eligible for these scholarships:
- Current UMT students
- Individuals admitted to UMT but not yet attending
- Recipients of other UMT academic scholarships
- Recipients of another PMIEF academic scholarship for the same academic year
Inclusions and Exclusions
The UMT scholarships are intended to include only the total or partial cost of tuition for each relevant academic degree program. All other costs related to participating in an academic degree program at UMT through these scholarships are the accountability of the student. These exclusions include, but are not limited to, such costs as books and materials, computer and other online participation technology, costs related to logging into and participating in online classes, and travel and lodging related to any reason for being physically on campus.

Application Requirements
You need to submit these materials to complete the application process:
- A completed application form
- A current resume
- A non-refundable application fee of $30.00 (Waived for active duty military personnel.)
- A non-refundable credit transfer evaluation fee of $30.00 (Optional)
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
- Three Recommendation and Reference Forms (Optional)
- Official GMAT test scores (optional). UMT's Institutional Code is 5592
- Official GRE scores (optional). UMT's Institutional Code is 5592
- TOEFL scores are required for students for whom English is not their native language. Minimum scores of 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer based) are required for applicants. UMT’s Institution Code is 7853.
- Financial Certificate for International Applicants Requiring Form I-20 to study in the United States as a full-time student
Additional Requirements
Original transcripts from institutions which are not in English must be accompanied by a certified (notarized) English translation.
An interview may be required, but is not necessary to submit an application.
Notification: Prospective students are evaluated for admission as soon as all required documents are received, and will be notified as soon as the decision process is completed.
