PMI Robert Kimmons Memorial Fellows Scholarship
In honor of the distinguished service career of the founders of the Project Management Institute, the PMI Board of Directors has established the Memorial Fellows Scholarship named in honor of the previous year’s Fellow(s) who have passed. The scholarship is open to any student enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a bachelor's degree in project management or a project management related field. The scholarship will be awarded in the amount of US$2,000. This scholarship is awarded once annually.
Application and Notification
To apply for this scholarship, complete the Academic Application for Undergraduates and Graduates. When you complete this application you will be considered for all academic scholarships for which you meet the criteria, so separate applications are not required for individual scholarships. The application opens at 12:01 a.m. on January 1 and closes at 11:59 p.m. on May 1. All notification of application status will be made to the email address you provide in your scholarship application.

This scholarship is open to students who are registered at accredited, degree-granting colleges or universities and are pursuing bachelor's degrees in project management or related fields of study.
About Robert L. Kimmons, PE, PMP
This endowed scholarship honors the life of Robert L. Kimmons. Mr. Kimmons had more than 50 years of experience in the project management profession. He joined PMI in 1976 and earned his Project Management Professional (PMP)® designation in 1984. He was a founding member of the former PMI Pharmaceutical Specific Interest Group (SIG) and was a president of the PMI Houston Chapter.
