Summary

 

The Former PMI College of Scheduling has funded the creation of The PMI Professional Development Scholarship for Scheduling endowment fund for the advancement of knowledge in Scheduling and Planning. This fund will support continuing education coursework to be used for professional development related to scheduling or planning in project management or project management in general. Up to US$1,500 will be awarded in whole or in part to one or more individuals.

 

Application and Notification

 

To apply for this scholarship, please complete the Professional Development and Training Scholarship Application. When you complete the application, you will be considered for all professional development scholarships for which you meet the criteria, so separate applications are not required. 

 

Applications from interested candidates must be received by PMIEF no later than April 1, each year. All notification of application status will be made to the email address you provide in your scholarship application.  Upon award, the recipient must register and pay for his/her professional development course and then send confirmation of registration and payment to PMIEF.

 

Upon receipt of this documentation, PMIEF will reimburse the recipient(s) up to the value of the scholarship amount awarded.

Criteria

Scholarships will be awarded in the following order of priority:

  1. Any individual planning to attend a classroom or online course in Scheduling or Planning. Applicants must specify the course on the scholarship application form.
  2. Any individual planning to attend a classroom or online course towards achievement of the PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® credential. Applicants must specify the course on the scholarship application form.
  3. Any individual planning to attend a classroom or online course related to project management. Applicants must specify the course on the scholarship application form.
