PMI Atlanta Chapter Scholarship
The PMI Atlanta Chapter is sponsoring an annual scholarship valued up to US $2,500 for undergraduate or graduate students. In March 2011 the Project Management Institute Atlanta Chapter (PMI Atlanta), launched its Education/Academic Program as a part of the Project Management Institute’s (PMI’s) Education Foundation Initiative. The purpose of the program is to provide opportunities for students to acquire project management skills that will help them become competitive in the 21st century work force and to give back to the community by increasing the quantity of capable project management practitioners in the Atlanta Metro Area. The scholarship is awarded once annually.

In order to be considered eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be enrolled, applying to a project management degree program or a related field benefiting from project management with the following order of priority:
- A member of the PMI Atlanta Chapter attending or planning to attend an accredited academic degree program at any college or university.
- An immediate family member of a PMI Atlanta Chapter member (including spouse, children, stepchildren and grandchildren but not cousins, aunts, or uncles) attending or planning to attend an accredited academic degree program at any college or university.
- A resident of the State of Georgia, USA attending or planning to attend an accredited academic degree program at any college or university.
