Description

The following courses are offered to educational administrators, teachers, students, nonprofit/nongovernmental organization (NGO) staff, and emerging project management practitioners worldwide. These professional development opportunities are designed to provide participants with project management resources and tools needed to implement a project-based culture within the classroom or workplace.

Although courses are offered to applicants worldwide, all training is provided in English.

Scholarship Opportunity #1: PM Foundation - Basic level program that provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of project management based upon PMI®’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). (Market value of US $495)

Scholarship Opportunity #2: Prep Course for PMI’s Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) Exam –Advanced level course that builds on the candidates’ practical experience of Agile in the workplace to equip them with the broad range of knowledge and skills required for the PMI® Agile Certification exam. (Market value of US$1,450)

Scholarship Opportunity #3: The Project Management Certificate Program – Intermediate level program for those ready to earn the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential. (Market value of US $1,450)

Scholarship Opportunity #4: WBS: The Keystone of Project Management – Intermediate/advanced level course that focuses on the hierarchical deconstruction of scope of work to effectively accomplish project objectives and create deliverables. (Market value of US $850)

Scholarship Opportunity #5: Managing Multiple Projects – Intermediate/advanced level course designed to equip you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and techniques so that you can effectively and productively manage multiple projects. (Market value of US $850)

Scholarship Opportunity #6: Project Management for Non-Project Managers – Basic course for individuals unfamiliar with project management provides insight into the role of a project manager and suggests how you and other project stakeholders can aid in the success of a project. (Market value of US $550)

Scholarship Opportunity #7: Agile Development and Project Management – Intermediate course that presents the Agile approach and principles showing the participant how they differ from the traditional approach to managing software development. (Market value of US $650)

Scholarship Opportunity #8: Global Project Management – Intermediate/advanced course provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and techniques to establish effective management and leadership in an environment with a diverse set of stakeholders. (Market value of US $850)

Scholarship Opportunity #9:
Project Management Fundamentals for IT Professionals – Basic level course that addresses problems inherent in managing systems development projects. (Market value of US $1,250)

Scholarship Opportunity #10: Developing the Business Case – Basic through advanced level course that teaches the purpose, structure, and content of a business case, including basic techniques for determining financial ROI, non-tangible benefits, and the probability of meeting expectations. (Market value of US $850)

Scholarship Opportunity #11: Business Analysis Fundamentals – Basic through advanced level participants will learn the overall process of business analysis and where it fits in the bigger picture of the project life cycle and the business context. (Market value of US $850)

Scholarship Opportunity #12:
Organization and People Change Management – Intermediate/advanced course that examines a comprehensive process for Organization and People Change Management (OPCM) and how it integrates into the five project management process groups. (Market value of US $850)

Scholarship Opportunity #13: Deep Dive into Agile and Scrum – Basic level course designed to spend 25% of the time on “What” and “Why” behind Agile and Scrum and 75% on the “How” through examination of the end-to-end Agile project life cycle. (Market value of US $495)

Scholarship Opportunity #14: Building High Performance Teams – Intermediate level course that pulls together the most current and popular theories and writings on this complex topic and provides the skills required to build and participate in high-performance project teams and affect change. (Market value of US $850)

Scholarship Opportunity #15:
Managing Project Scope – Basic level course teaches the pitfalls and best practices of managing scope throughout the entire project life cycle. (Market value of US $450)

Criteria

  • In order to be considered eligible for a scholarship, all applicants must complete the PMIEF application process and adhere to its requirements.

  • The scholarships are available to teachers, students, nonprofit staff, and emerging project management practitioners throughout the globe.

  • Scholarship recipients must have access to a computer.

  • No other educational resources are provided.

  • Scholarship awards DO NOT include any credential exam fees.
