Webinar: Outcomes and Efficacy of PM Knowledgeable Youth Grant Making, 2012-2017

The Stanford Center for Opportunity Policy in Education (SCOPE) at Stanford University led a year-long external evaluation for the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) to examine the foundation's work on behalf of youth-related initiatives from 2012 – 2017. Conducted through semi-structured interviews and participant observations with select grantees and key collaborators, this study assessed the collection of funded initiatives (including grants, materials created, relationships leveraged, and conceptual and integrative strategies used) that comprised PMIEF's PM Knowledgeable Youth portfolio. The evaluation served to:

  • Inform the foundation's understanding of its historical body of work in this area (i.e., whence it came and where it had arrived), with particular emphasis on relevant grant making to guide strategic investments in the future, and;

  • Examine the outcomes and efficacy of this work, particularly relative to PMIEF’s roadmap.

Watch this on demand webinar and download the accompanying resources to learn the findings of the SCOPE research and the recommendations it generated, especially as these data have helped support the foundation's current strategy and grant investments to strengthen the capacity and programming of youth-serving nonprofits worldwide.
