PMIEF relies on the efforts of PMIEF Liaisons and the Community Engagement Committee to help foster volunteerism in local communities.
Many of PMI’s chapters around the globe choose to appoint a chapter volunteer into the role of PMIEF Liaison. PMIEF Liaisons provide a vital communications and activities link between the PMI Educational Foundation and the local chapter.
The PMIEF Donor Development Partners is a group of honored supporters of the Foundation who are invited to extend the PMIEF Board's reach and influence by promoting the organization, specifically to cultivate its donor base.
Community Advancement Through Project Management Award
PMIEF recognizes outstanding volunteer efforts through its Community Advancement through Project Management Award. The award emphasizes the pro bono/volunteer efforts of project managers in three categories for increasing the capacities of nonprofit organizations.
