PMIEF relies on the efforts of PMIEF Liaisons and the Community Engagement Committee to help foster volunteerism in local communities.
  

PMIEF Liaisons

Many of PMI’s chapters around the globe choose to appoint a chapter volunteer into the role of PMIEF Liaison.  PMIEF Liaisons provide a vital communications and activities link between the PMI Educational Foundation and the local chapter.

The Community Engagement Committee assists the PMIEF Board of Directors in relationship building and stewardship of specific communities around the world.

Volunteer Matching Program

PMIEF has created a pro bono/volunteer matching program to connect project managers, PMI Chapters and corporations/government agencies to nonprofits/nongovernment agencies who have requested volunteer support for their organizations.

Community Advancement Through Project Management Award

PMIEF recognizes outstanding volunteer efforts through its Community Advancement through Project Management Award. The award emphasizes the pro bono/volunteer efforts of project managers in three categories for increasing the capacities of nonprofit organizations.
