Here at the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) we often talk of community, collaboration and compassion. It’s at the heart of what we do, what we believe in and how we connect with you. So first off, we want to acknowledge these unprecedented times. Virtually everyone around the world has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and we want you to know that the health and safety of the PMI community and their families is, and will always be, our number one concern. We’re here to support you as best we can.
Even though many of us are working from home and practicing social distancing, we want you to know, our community is as strong and connected as ever. We’ve listed free resources below from PMIEF to help you navigate your new normal. Whether it be activities you can do with the kids in your life while staying indoors or focusing on how you can take your professional development efforts to the next level, PMIEF has you covered.
- No-Cost Resources: Currently quarantined with your kids? Take a moment to discover some of our no-cost resources and download them today. Two of our favorite activities to help inspire youth indoors right now are The Tower Game and Project Management Fiction Books for Kids. Visit our resource library for more information.
- Professional Development Scholarships: While everything else seems to be put on hold right now, your professional development doesn’t have to be. PMIEF is here for you with scholarship and award opportunities –helping you to continue your work (and learning) with as little interruption as possible. You can learn more about the upcoming available opportunities here.
- Inspirational Stories: PMIEF believes a little good can go a long way. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be featuring some of our favorite stories on our social channels. Be sure to connect with us on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and on PMIEF.org to see featured stories about social good efforts – big and small – happening around the globe.
- Updates from the PMI Community: Times are changing quickly. The PMI and PMIEF teams are working closely together to provide you with updates as fast as possible. For the most current up-to-date news from the PMI community please visit PMI.org.
Together, we can connect to create a digital community that feels welcoming to everyone. While we work through the next few weeks, we will continue to take each day one day at a time, together. Many things may be unknown still, but one thing is for certain – the strength of the PMI community can withstand, even during the toughest of times.
