The PMIEF Board welcomes Deji Ishmael and Mitchell Fong as new directors who will fill the remainder of the terms to the end of 2021, due to recent director resignations.

Deji Ishmael (London, UK) has a background in technology project and program management and more recently as an organizational change and transformation consultant. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees for a UK charity, FTI Trust (Friends Trust International) since 2014 and a PMI volunteer since 2007, when he was a founding member and President of PMI Lagos, Nigeria Chapter. He has been part of the PMIEF Community Engagement Committee (2015 – 2018), where he contributed to linking the PMIEF with the PMI chapters and joins the Board from the PMI Nominating Committee (2019 – 2020).

Mitchell Fong is an engineer, program manager, coach and management consultant from Toronto, Canada. He has previously served on the Boards of: Appleby College, Professional Engineers Ontario (East Toronto) and PMI Toronto, having just completed his term as President of the PMI Toronto Chapter. Mitchell has volunteered with the Invictus Games, Pan Am Games, and CIO Association of Canada. He completed his Executive Education through Columbia Business School and the Schulich School of Business. Mitchell holds degrees in Software Engineering and Political Science from Western University. He joins the Board having served on the PMIEF Donor Development Partner Committee since 2018.
