Celebrate International Youth Day with PMIEF

Did you know that, according to the United Nations, there are 1.2 billion young people ages 15 to 24 years, accounting for 16% of today's global population? Additionally, by 2030—the target date for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that make up the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development—the number of youth is projected to have grown by 7% to nearly 1.3 billion. So what does this mean for the future and how will this generation make a global impact?

Today, 12 August, we are excited to celebrate the UN’s International Youth Day and this year’s theme – Youth Engagement for Global Action – that seeks to highlight ways young people are making a difference locally and globally. At the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF), we not only believe today’s youth are tomorrow’s global leaders, we also feel when we teach the world’s youth to apply project management skills in their lives, we unlock their potential and open doors to key life skills, including collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, communication, and more
