The Asia Society has released “Global Competence through Career and Technical Education,” a free professional development course and toolkit funded by PMIEF. These materials will help career and technical education (CTE) teachers address a critical imperative: to prepare all students for work and civic roles in an environment where success increasingly requires the abilities to compete, to connect, and to cooperate internationally. In addition, the course and toolkit will help teachers understand how integrating project management into CTE curricula helps students cooperate in teams, identify and mitigate risk, and execute and monitor collaborative work, skills imperative in the 21st century workforce.
