About Suresh Chandra

Picture of Suresh Chandra

As a business leader in India, Suresh helped ideate the first information technology park in Hyderabad, India long before the concept of this kind of campus gained popularity in the late 1990s. In addition, he helped design the infrastructure of a global business school and managed its operations for nearly a decade, establishing it as a preeminent institution of higher learning.

But it was Suresh’s unwavering commitment to leveraging project management for social good that is perhaps his greatest legacy. His desire for a forum in which he and colleagues could both create and exchange knowledge as they promoted the project management profession prompted him to cofound the PMI Pearl City Chapter in 2001. Suresh was also a 2008 graduate of PMI’s Leadership Institute Master Class. In 2013, he joined the PMIEF Board of Directors.  His kind heart and quiet strength made Suresh a special member of PMIEF and PMI families.
