Summary

Kenneth O. Hartley, PMI Fellow and PMP, and friends have funded the creation of The PMIEF Kenneth Hartley Project Leadership Development Scholarship to assist project managers in funding continuing education coursework to be used for professional development.

Application and Notification

To apply for this scholarship, please complete the Professional Development and Training Scholarship Application. When you complete the application, you will be considered for all professional development scholarships for which you meet the criteria, so separate applications are not required.

Applications from interested candidates must be received by PMIEF no later than April 1, each year. All notification of application status will be made to the email address you provide in your scholarship application.

Upon award, the recipient must register and pay for his/her professional development course and then send confirmation of registration and payment to PMIEF.

Upon receipt of this documentation, PMIEF will reimburse the recipient(s) up to the value of the scholarship amount awarded.

Criteria

Two or more scholarships will be awarded each year valued up to US$1,250 each for any training course or university level course related to project management, but not for certification examination preparation. Funds may be awarded in whole or in part to two or more individuals.

Applicants must select a course related to project management and specify that course on the scholarship
