Through its Awards Program, the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF) – the nonprofit, charitable, arm of PMI – recognizes individuals and organizations making outstanding contributions to the project management profession. These contributions include exceptional scholarly research, as well as, the practical application of project management skills applied inside or outside the workplace. The award recipients were recognized at the PMI®Global Congress 2016 – North America in September in San Diego, California.
