PMIEF Award Recipients Suketu Nagrecha, Tracy McKinney, and Nieto-Rodriguez

Through its Awards Program, the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF) – the nonprofit, charitable, arm of PMI – recognizes individuals and organizations making outstanding contributions to the project management profession. These contributions include exceptional scholarly research, as well as, the practical application of project management skills applied inside or outside the workplace. The award recipients were recognized at the PMI®Global Congress 2016 – North America in September in San Diego, California. 

Current PMIEF Awards include:  

  • The Community Advancement Through Project Management Award

  • The Kerzner Award for Excellence in Project Management

  • The Donald S. Barrie Award

  • The James R. Snyder International Student Paper of the Year Award (up to four awarded annually)
